PHILANTHROPY CONSULTANT
Maria Hamilton graduated from the University of Guelph with a double major in English and History. She thought she would go on to teachers’ college but realized that her passion lay elsewhere. Maria started working with registered charities and non-profits in the areas of resource development. For over 26 years Maria has supported such organizations as The AIDS Committee of Windsor, Multicultural Council of Windsor-Essex, Building Black Youth Foundation, Science Atlantic and many more. Through grant writing, sponsorships, donations, and workshops she has assisted organizations in the areas of education, advocacy, research, diversification of revenue and human resources.
Maria believes that we should work toward a world where AIDS/HIV, HPV, homelessness, hunger, racism is no longer and, therefore, there is no longer a need for these organizations.
