Research Consultant
Lola Flomen is a sexual and reproductive health research consultant with seven years of experience working across cervical health, family planning, safe abortion, schistosomiasis, HIV, and infectious disease care. Her clients have included: the Center on Gender Equity and Health, Population Services International (PSI), the World Health Organization, the African Cervical Health Alliance, Precision Global Health, and DKT. Lola has been privileged to work in partnership with health researchers and communities in Canada, Kenya, Côte d’Ivoire, Benin and the UK. She is most passionate about advocating to integrate schistosomiasis care into routine health programmes. Lola holds a Master of Science in Control of Infectious Diseases from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine where she researched the epidemiological association between female genital schistosomiasis and High-Risk HPV. Lola is an alumna of Princeton in Africa, she works in English, French, and a little Swahili.
