After obtaining my bachelor’s degree, I studied at the Faculté de Médecine de Dakar to obtain the State Diploma of Doctor of Medicine and the Diploma of Specialized Studies in Gynecology-Obstetrics. I completed my training to obtain the Diploma of Advanced Specialized Training in Gynecology-Obstetrics at the University of Paris Descartes. I obtained university diplomas in Colposcopy and Cervical-Vaginal Pathology (Angers, 2009), in Endoscopy in Gynecology (Paris, 2013), in Vaginal and Perineal Surgery, (Lyon, 2013), and in Operative Hysteroscopy (Paris, 2013)
I was appointed in 2015 to the position of as Assistant lecturer at the Université Cheikh Anta DIOP in Dakar, Senegal and I am registered on the Liste d’Aptitude aux Fonctions de Maitre-Assistant in 2018 with am A rating from the African and Malagasy Council of the Higher Education.
I then obtained the title of Former Intern of Hospitals of Dakar and I occupied the internal function in Paris and Assistant Chef de Clinique at CHU de Dakar. I did several internships that allowed me to strengthen my skills in the management of Gynecological and Obstetrical pathologies and in Gynecological Endoscopy.
I am a member of learned societies including l’Association Sénégalaise des Gynécologues-Obstétriciens and by affiliation to the Société Africaine de Gynecologie-Obstetrique and the International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics. I did scientific work in Obstetrics where I focused on complications during pregnancy and childbirth and Emergency Obstetric and Neonatal Care. The second half of my scientific work is focused on Gynecology and covers the themes of contraception, pathology of the cervix and endoscopy in gynecology.
Since February 2021, I have been President of the Société Sénégalaise de Colposcopie et de Pathologie liée au Papillomavirus.
