Project Director

Bhekinkosi Paris Vilane holds a B.ED. Bachelor’s degree in Adult Education from University of Eswatini and an MBA – Masters of Business Management Administration from the Texila American University.

Bheki has over 10 years’ experience in Public Health and senior management on USAID funded projects with further exposure working for International organizations e.g. Johns Hopkins University Center for Communication, Clinton Health Access Initiative. Bheki has experience working with different stakeholders such as National Emergency Response Coordination on HIV & AIDS, Ministry of Tinkhundla Administration and Development, Ministry of Education and Training, UNFPA, UNDP, UNICEF, PEPFAR and Ministry of Health (Eswatini National AIDS Program, Eswatini Sexual Reproductive Health Unit and National Cancer Control Unit). Bheki has lead programs such as DREAMS (HIV prevention focusing on priority population), Human Centered design approach (VMMC), strategic planning, and exposure in HIV programing and design and cancer system strengthen and cancer continuum of care. He has lead the team to not only produce results but to also reach their full potential. He has been part of most Technical Working Groups in HIV response, now National Cancer Technical Working Group.

Now, he has joined the HPV Global Action team as Project Director directly from Eswatini. Eswatini is faced with high burden of cancer, leading with cervical cancer, and I am devoted to being part of the solution to reduce the incidence and prevent new cancer cases.
