Trained as an LPN and PAB, I have always had a passion for caring for others. I have been working in the health care field for over 10 years with people of all ages. One of the most important aspects that I have learned is to ensure that people are not only taken care of physically, but also being informed and having the right tools and knowledge to take care of themselves. 
Being a mother to a 10 y/o girl, I acknowledge the fears and challenges that come with growing up and the awkward conversations around sex and all of the risks that come with it, and for that reason I am proud to be part of an organization that helps empower and educate people.
