Executive Assistant & School Liaison

Amanda is the Executive Assistant and School Liaison at HPV Global Action, where she supports the organization’s mission to improve HPV education, prevention, and access to care across Canada. She is often the first point of contact for schools and community partners and plays a key role in ensuring that educational initiatives are delivered smoothly, thoughtfully, and with care.

Amanda works closely with schools, educators, healthcare professionals, and public health partners to coordinate presentations, manage logistics, and support outreach efforts nationwide. Behind the scenes, she keeps projects on track through strong organization, clear communication, and attention to detail, while always keeping people and relationships at the centre of her work.

With a background in healthcare and clinical settings, including hospitals and community health centres, Amanda brings a grounded understanding of patient care, health systems, and the realities faced by communities. She trained as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), which informs her compassionate, practical approach and her commitment to creating safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environments for youth.

Amanda values connection, collaboration, and trust. She is deeply motivated by the impact that education and early prevention can have on individuals, families, and communities, and she takes pride in supporting programs that empower young people with knowledge and confidence to make informed decisions about their health.
