One of our current objectives is to support the World Health Organization’s (WHO) global strategy to accelerate the elimination of cervical cancer, both in Canada and in low and middle-income countries (LMIC). We have  working agreements with health ministries, as well as key leaders in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), Guinea, and Mali to implement a course of action to support the WHO’s global strategy to be on the path toward these goals:

    1. “90% of girls fully vaccinated with the HPV vaccine by age 15 years;
    2. 70% of women screened with a high-performance test by 35 and 45 years of age;
    3. 90% of women identified with cervical disease receive treatment:
    4. 90% of women with pre-cancer treated;
    5. 90% of women with invasive cancer managed.”
