THE TRANSITION FROM PAP TO HPV DNA TESTING IN PRIMARY CERVICAL CANCER SCREENING
We conduct research, supported by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), to understand Canadian women’s knowledge and attitudes about current and proposed cervical cancer screening practices and HPV vaccination. Our organization is a critical member of this team with a decade of research on HPV vaccination and testing.
HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS_101 PRESENTATION
We are conducting an evaluation research project through McGill University, led by our organization’s Vice President, and principal investigator Dr. Zeev Rosberger, which assesses the impact of the Healthy Relationships_101 presentation on 14-18-year-old students’ knowledge, attitudes, behaviors, and perceptions of sexual and reproductive health topics. Inciting positive outcomes is our core goal. This anonymous pre- and 1-month post-evaluation measures modifications in all these spheres of our audiences. This study will provide insight into what our audiences know and how effective our methods are in teaching them, and adapt where necessary to meet the needs of today’s youth so they can develop best practices geared at cultivating healthy relationships.
