Dr. Saleem is an international medical graduate trained in Pakistan. After working a few years in Pakistan she moved to the United Arab Emirates where she was appointed as the Medical Director of the primary health care center in a rural setting. During those years she developed her interest in women’s health.

As a tele-health provider in Pakistan through a virtual platform, she encourages her patients to get age-appropriate cancer screening and educates them about primary prevention. She believes that she can break taboos – especially about sexual health – by educating her patients.

After moving to Canada, she became involved in volunteering, research and participates in various continuous professional development activities as she is committed to learning and improving. Alongside working through her licensure process in Canada, she is currently working as a Clinical Assistant in Ontario. She considers HPV Global Action a great platform to promote awareness about cervical cancer screening and prevention.
