Blessing is a public health enthusiast and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology from the Federal University of Technology Minna, Nigeria. She is passionate about improving health and advocating for vulnerable populations. She is a Young Africa Leader Initiatives (YALI) fellow of West Africa.

Civic engagement via volunteering, advocacy and participation in making a difference and impacting lives is what gives her great joy and fulfillment. Blessing has worked and volunteered with several different organizations and also served in different leadership roles. Her community development work is demonstrated by her involvement in health promotion by facilitating menstrual hygiene among women and girls that are internally displaced in Nigeria and mentoring young female students through a self-esteem program, amongst others.

Her continued interest lies in improving health, HPV awareness and its consequences and providing administrative support to HPV Global Action.
