Benoit Larocque is an IT generalist/web developer originally from Hawkesbury settled in Toronto, Ontario. His passion for technology harkens back to the 80’s when he first learned to code on a Commodore 64!
Fast forward to the present, the ensemble of his career has involved recycling computers for people on Ontario Works and ODSP, and bridging video-conferencing sessions for the House Of Commons and the Senate Of Canada internally and to parties across the world. He has become a Linux Expert and recently acquired the skills of a web developer. He has developed his personal philosophy throughout his years in IT and with the coding haiku:
“A haiku, is a Japanese poem of seventeen syllables, traditionally evoking images of the natural world.
A properly coded app is no different in its simplicity, elegance and functionality”.
